Jewels (Julie) Ravenhawk Kincaid departed this earthly plane, without fear, surrounded by her beloved husband Dino and her family on Wednesday November 30 at 8:38 am after a short illness.

Julie was a spiritual inspiration to so many and a teacher of the divine feminine that live in each of us. The Egyptians had Isis, the Greeks had Aphrodite, the Hindus had Shakti, and we had Julie, who without hesitation offered us the knowledge of the crystalline energies that lay deep in the earth where she lived. Julie showed us how these crystals can redirect and re-channel energy flow with their unique energetic vibrations, helping to unblock areas of the body or energy field that have become “stuck.” She taught us the ancient teachings of the shamans and Native American rituals that help give us direction and guidance. Julie’s wisdom far surmounted most teachers of the metaphysical world and her healing energies were sought by many.

Julie left us with a legacy. Her book and writings will forever be cherished and looked upon with great appreciation.

The Crystal Seen Trading Company monthly newsletter will pause for a bit while we recalibrate life without Julie physically with us. As The Rayven Flies monthly volumes will be turned into a book and hopefully publicly available in the future.

Julie will be missed and will forever remain in our hearts.

The light we know when we are born leads us through our life.

We face our time the best we can, both happiness and strife.

We keep the light, a scared task, when we help those in need.

We share the light and become the light until our end, indeed.

A private memorial will be held on January 1st at 1:00 pm central.

Crystal Messengers Mini Oracle Cards and Book~ A Unique Guide

"In a crystal we have the clear evidence of a formative life principle, and though we cannot understand the life of a crystal, it is none the less a living being"

This quote by Nicola Tesla has intrigued me since I first read it over 30 years ago. I knew that it would become of my life's calling when we moved to Mount Ida, AR. "The Crystal Capital of the World." Over the many years of living and working with and amongst these crystals, I felt a strong calling to learn more and more, from both the scientific and spiritual points of view. In the many years of reading Crystals to guide others, I have learned that Crystal is a beautiful messenger of God's pure love and light. Carried within the many different formations in the Crystal Realms are characteristics not unlike our own. When we see how determined they are to co-exist in harmony with each other and find perfection in their lives, it reminds us that when we strive to be pure in body, mind and spirit, we too can find that perfection and completion in our lives. I began to see them as companions and "friends" to assist us on our journey, In addition, I had also come to notice that when I read crystals for my visitors in our shop, that they would always choose crystals that were "inescapably" like-minded in their energies, if they were choosing the crystal for themselves.

Then, after 27 years of being a "Crystal and Wisdom Keeper" and reading Crystals and Animal Medicine Cards for those who sought insight and spiritual guidance, a new way of working with the Crystals came to me. Having already been through some amazing lessons and initiations with the Crystal Clan, I had just spent some intense time "reviewing and releasing" old issues and scenarios from my life, bringing a great peace, and a greater clarity of mind and heart. In 2016, I found myself in a beautiful meditation to "receive and conceive" and the idea for creating my special Crystal Messengers was born. I began sorting my crystals by points, looking for matching characteristics in alignment with the energies of the 7 Sacred Directions in Native American wisdom teachings, choosing 6 for each direction and 1 each to represent the Divine Masculine and Feminine energies.

Soon I had collected a full set of some of my best and most unique crystals, creating my special 44. In this way, I would be able to share my knowledge and Crystal experience in order to teach others who found me here, and to my great delight, this concept was well received. I began doing crystal readings for people in our shop, compiling the information that I had been collecting over the last 20 years of intense living and working with these amazing Crystal treasures, here in Mt Ida "The Crystal Capital of the World." In 2017, the idea was born to write the book "Crystal Messengers" as a guide to understanding and identifying Crystals. With the mission of making this unique knowledge of the Crystals available to all who were seeking it, we set out to find out printers, and the first copies of the book were delivered to our doorstep in January of 2018.

Originally, this book was being written as a "how to" identify and work with Crystals book, with some Atlantean and Native wisdom teachings added in, but I wanted my contribution to the Crystal Realms to be something that no one (here and now) had ever seen or done before. My guides and The Universe kept telling me "write what you know!" And so, after all these years of working with the Medicine Wheel Teachings, I began to sort the Crystals by their characteristics and personalities, aligning them with the energies governed and projected by the 7 Sacred Directions of East, South, West, North, Above, Below and Within. Having already chosen some amazing members of my own collection to act as my special "messengers" for personal Crystal readings, I had selected a total of 44 different, yet fairly obtainable Crystals for this purpose.

In the beginning, my desire was to release the book and crystal oracle cards at the same time, but that did not happen. Instead, a different path was shown to me. Because the cost and design of the cards would take much longer, through prayer, meditation and loving guidance, I decided to release the book first, in order to start introducing this idea, and losing some of the volume of my book, I meditated on how I would fill the pages. It was then that the messages in the "songs of the crystals" came to me in the form of first-person poetry. The book stands strong on its own now, two years later, and is no longer in its infancy; it is the true guide and carries the message of these crystals, in and of itself. And now, with the release of the Crystal Messenger Oracle Cards, we are providing tangible tools for continuous learning, and that partnership is now complete. This was the true mission of developing the concept of Crystal Messengers. By providing a unique guide to working with the Crystal Clan and Native American wisdom, I can share my knowledge and passion about the characteristics and agenda of the Crystal Clan, and how they are here to assist us with our own Ascension.

And finally, the photos chosen for the book and cards were all taken by my beloved husband and myself. The original artwork of the cards was designed and created by RavynHawk and the contract for the printing of these cards was done right here at Mount Ida, AR "The Crystal Capital of the World." Heartfelt gratitude for these amazing photos from some very magical places, selected for their living, breathtaking beauty.

In working with this guide and these Crystal Messenger Oracle Cards, it is my intention that you will find a "friend" in the messages these Crystals can continue to bring to you. When I was writing the poetry, I came to realize that it was the Crystals themselves coming through in the rhyming, as is so often the case when working with the Angelic and Spiritual Realms. My prayer is that you come to recognize and be able to define and learn about the many personalities and gifts of these amazing Crystal Beings, and how the relate to, and complement the 7 Sacred Directions. As they gently find their way into your life through these Crystal Messenger Oracle Cards, they can help you to address the questions you may have about any discontent within your spirit, or maybe the issues that are out of balance in your physical, mental, emotional and spiritual bodies. You can use these cards in a structured reading, such as the Seven Sacred Direction Reading that I like to use, or you may simply ask a question (or questions) of importance to you, and then choose a "Crystal Messenger Oracle Card for a suggested application of Crystal energies. If you are already a reader of any kind, you will find that these Crystal Messengers can be another wonderful partner, even adding them to your own unique readings. I have often done this, combining the Animal Medicine Cards with my Crystal Messengers, especially when reading couples. Now let us begin.

First, take a few deep breaths; it is always a wonderful idea to clear your mind, listen to your heart and create a "sacred space" within which to work with these Crystal Messengers. This can be done by calling upon Mother/Father/Creator along with burning sage, cedar, copal or another incense to clear yourself of any negative energies. In addition, in some traditions, the offering of Tobacco is also practiced for "stepping down the ego" and allowing our Higher Being to take over. With good intention and for the Highest Good of All, this can open the doorway to receiving messages from our guides in the Spiritual Realms. In doing so, you are centering and aligning with Creator, asking for clear and concise answers to give you guidance, using the Crystal Messenger Cards as a tool. It is also recommended that you also sage the cards, both before and after each use, as each time they are used in a reading they will pick up the energies you or a previous client were carrying. This ensures that your cards will be pure to receive from Spirit each time you use them.

Next, you may want to add your own energies to the Crystal Messenger Oracle Cards by viewing them one by one, familiarizing yourself with the Crystals. There are no contrary positions to these crystal cards, so you may also add more of your own energies by shuffling the cards. There are many different ways you might choose the cards and there are no right or wrong methods for choosing. But the most widely used method it to lay the cards (face down) in a fan in front of you, so that all of the individual energies can be seen and/or felt at any time. When I was first introduced to working with cards, I would feel a tingling in the center of my palm, and pick the card that was under my middle finger, but you will discover what works best for you. You may also choose to hold the cards (face down) in your hand, passing them from one hand to the other, and the card that flips upright is the one that contains the answer for that aspect or question. You will choose one card for each aspect or question. By working with the cards in a receptive state of silence or meditation, you can better understand the message they wish to bring you. You are now ready to begin working with your cards!

In choosing a layout there are many things to consider, but the most important thing is to choose the layout or spread which will give you the best guidance for your intended questions. Be specific when you ask yourself... what do you really want to learn or accomplish with this reading?

And, if I might suggest, a wonderful way to learn these different formations is to draw a different card each day and meditate on the keyword (in the book) as an aspect of your life. For instance, if you were to draw the Cross Crystal, which represents "Love with Forgiveness" perhaps you might be guided to think of someone in your life who once had your love and now needs your forgiveness. The greatest example of applying Love with Forgiveness came from Jesus of Nazareth who, because of the unconditional love He carried within, could forgive those who crucified Him. He set a wonderful example for all of us to follow.

That being said, each Crystal Messenger offers you different gifts to assist you on your path to Ascension. To give you some choices, I have outlined these different readings for you. And I encourage to work with them often and practice reading your Crystal Messengers for yourselves and with loved ones. As you grow in your knowledge and confidence, you will have a wonderful tool with these Crystal Messenger Cards and Guide Book to assist you along the way. In addition, we are providing a web page, where I will be occasionally sharing and posting some new crystal readings, as they come to me. There are also plans for an ongoing blog, coming soon to support and assist you in your crystal work. Here now are your first three and a fourth different reading for using the cards. The position in which you place your cards does not matter; it is not set in stone and you will always be guided by your hearts and your intuition.

ONE CARD DAILY GUIDANCE READING

This chosen crystal is to give you daily guidance or to ask a particular question needing an answer. Often, we find ourselves in scenarios that rob us of our energy and strength, and it is often difficult to find an answer while trying to bring resolve to our current issues. When you choose a single card for daily guidance, you are asking Creator to suggest a "path of doing" to help you review and overcome this issue. It is important however, that you realize that the chosen Crystal is meant to be a guide for that day; it is ultimately YOU who must actually address the situation or the question, with the assistance and application of the Crystal energies, in order to bring clarity and resolve to your current situation.

TWO CARD SUN MOON READING

This 2-card layout is about balancing the male and female energies you hold within you. We each carry both male and female traits within, but when one or the other (or even both, in some cases) are not in right thinking or action, it sometimes becomes necessary to find a means to bring balance to those issues. For instance, if you find yourself being too angry or aggressive, you might want to call upon the Divine Feminine energies of Mother Earth to assist you to ground and transmute that darkness- like gardening, swimming, earthing or digging your own crystal. In this reading, you will choose the Sun card with your dominant hand, and the Moon card with the other, your receiving hand.

SUN~ This Crystal Messenger represents bringing forth the male energies of (The Divine Masculine) standing in your truth, taking action when needed, and co-creation for the Highest Good of All in alignment with Creator's Will, or Manifestation.

MOON~ This Crystal Messenger represents bringing forth the female energies of (The Divine Feminine) unconditional love, compassion, forgiveness, healing and spirituality to name a few.

FOUR CARD CRYSTAL MESSENGER LIFE PATH READING

This 4-card layout was inspired by an old Druidic method of divination and a deeper desire to understand how the issues and influences of the past (past lives) can "affect and direct" the circumstances in your present life today. This reading can also help you to identify the issues that are out of balance in your life, and these Crystal Messengers can give you guidance on how to set and reach your intended goals, by helping you to review, clear and release, moving away all those energies which no longer serve you on your path to Enlightenment and Ascension.
